Black Tea Bahama Cocktail


Black tea is a versatile tea, especially when it comes to creating delicious relaxing cocktails. This lightly sweet and refreshing cocktail combines the malty notes of our Keemun black tea with the spice of Drambuie.

This is a very simple to make cocktail for autumn evenings, when a gentle breeze caresses your face and you're having a good time with your friends.

You'll need

  • 50ml white rum
  • 25ml Drambuie
  • 1 teaspoon Keemun tea
  • 200ml hot water (90 °C)
  • 7.5ml Agave syrup
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Ice
  • Orange peel to garnish 

How to make

  1. Prepare your Keemun tea by brewing 1 teaspoon with 200ml hot water for 4 minutes, then strain. Leave to cool.
  2. Put all your ingredients in a shaker.
  3. Add ice to the shaker
  4. Shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is cold.
  5. Strain into a short glass.
  6. Garnish with an orange peel.
