Oolong tea is semi-oxidized and brings a variety of flavors. Our Organic Iron Goddess of Mercy (Tie Guan Yin) is a rare find as very few teas in this region are certified organic, adhering to the strict pesticide and farming controls. 🧺
This tea is obtained through traditional Tie Guan Yin tea-making techniques, where 2 to 3 half matured leaves are handpicked and then rolled into tight balls. The leaf is 30% oxidized, by firstly bruising the leaves in a bamboo drum and then allowing them to rest and gradually wither. The tea brews a bright, golden-colored liquor with a light floral fragrance and sweet long-lasting after taste. 🌿
