🌏 Origin:
Gande Town, Anxi, Fujian province, China. -
Oolong tea is semi-oxidized and brings a variety of flavors. Our Organic Roasted Iron Goddess of Mercy (Tie Guan Yin) hails from the hills of Gande town, where farmers use organic farming techniques of growing many wildflowers around the tea bushes, to send away the insects from the growing tea. They slowly roast the tea leaves to get the specific crisp, toasty aromas, notes of fruitiness, and hints of cocoa. 🍫
This is a special oolong, its earlier steeps showing a sweeter profile and moving on to more cinnamon notes as the tea develops during each infusion. 🌿
